8Bit Rangitoto | SOLD OUT

This is a homage to Auckland’s most iconic island volcano. Originally a project to learn how to use a 3D printer, this has morphed over a couple of years into these beautiful creations. The 8bit name is a reference to the sculpture’s origin as a digital project (the shape was created by individually replicating the island’s shape with individual 1cm squares) and the final, abstracted form.

  • 2m Resin Sculpture:
    • Check out the process pix to see how the project moved from 20 individually printed 10cm pieces into a poured sculpture.
